I'm b-a-a-a-ck! Sorry for the unexplained absence...we recently spent a glorious week with my parents here in the beautiful PNW. Unfortunately, I did not do ANY missions while we were exploring this fine state and I am sad that I did not make more of an effort...however, I did pick up quite a few "goodies" for future missions and will commence shortly!
For now, I thought I'd share some of the pictures from one of our outings... wishing you and yours a glorious end to August and hoping you experience kindness today!

The More You Know...The More You Grow
Tuesday Greetings ... In my quest to support and emulate gestures of kindness, I have come across so many AMAZING people! It warms my heart and soul to see so many giving in so many ways! Again, I am close to awestruck when I read of all the goings-on in various parts of our world.
Previously, I liked to think of myself as a heartfelt thankful person, but too often I found the daily grind would get me down...the bad hair days, the too tired kids, the grumpy spouse. However, this recent journey I've embarked on has truly kicked in the grace and wonder that is my life. I no longer want for things unneccessarily and feel that the greatest gift I could get is to give! It is a transformation so severe for someone brought up in an atmosphere of self-indulgence and sole-gratification!
Today's mission was for my family. As of right now, I am still in the middle of it, so, I cannot post pictures until later...just to peak your interest it is something everyone has to do and something I always "say" I am going to do....
In the interim please do take the time to visit this AMAZING site http://www.terrysenchantedcottage.com/. Especially any of you that sew! What an AWESOME way to exercise our right to be kind to each other!!!
In kindness,
S.A.T.

Super "SONIC" Saturday Mission
Secret Agent T has kids...three of them to be exact...and they, like ALL kids, LOVE ice cream. The Pacific NW was in all of its gray glory today and we were feeling a little homebound...so, we decided today was the day to make the hour drive to the recently opened Sonic Drive-In for a tasty treat!
Little did they know, a mission had been born...YES, the menu board it would be IDEAL!
Though this is only my second mission, I feel very comfortable stating that this will probably be the easiest of them all...I simply placed everything right where I wanted to all from the comfort of my car! No one was directly behind me and as you can see the board is GINORMOUS, providing THE perfect cover from nearby cars on either side! *We did have a wee "scare" when a carhop skated up and asked if we needed any condiments...thankfully she never even noticed...whew!
For today's R.A.O.K., I decided on a handmade, simply stated necklace and a fantastic little box that has been patiently waiting for a purpose. I also took the time to type up an official "this is actually for you" note rather than going with my chicken scratch version and I think it looks so much better, yes?
And we all agreed that it was another "meant to be" moment when we realized the gift box sat perfectly on top of the credit card processor!
Another successful mission under my belt; tonight, I am happily content and cannot wait for what tomorrow brings! I truly hope this made someone's day a little brighter because it surely did ours!
In Kindness,
S.A.T.P.S. As luck would have it, as we were leaving we looked over and saw a car pulling into "our" spot!!! The kids were screaming and whooping it up and it was such an awesome feeling to see them get excited with the simplicity of a kind gesture! Take that Nintendo! :P

"First Friday" Mission COMPLETE!!!
Woo Hoo! My first mission was a success! I really tried to make it a LOT harder on myself by racking my brain half the day trying to make a witty reference to the day...i.e. "First Street" or "Friday's" However, the only First St. in my small town is a residential street and it's super narrow and densely populated...and "T.G.I. Friday's" is in the next big town over approx. 32 miles from me...so, I compromised and went with...
(drum roll please....)
It works on SOOOOOOO many levels RIGHT? I mean the name alone is PERFECT...
good⋅will–noun
1.friendly disposition; benevolence; kindness.
And I L.O.V.E. the very first synonym according to dictionary.com
Synonyms:
1. friendliness.
My mission was to place flowers and a $20 gift card inside a random shopping cart in the parking lot outside the Goodwill on 1700 SE Mile Hill Road. (*if this is your vehicle I apologize for including it in the photo; since the lic plate is not visible, I thought it would be okay, please email me if you would like me to omit this pic!) :)
Also, since this was my VERY first R.A.O.K. as Secret Agent T; I decided to make it extra special and got a jazzy gift card box! I opted not to write in it so that the recipient could use it for gift giving too!
Details, details...I've got to admit this was trickier than I thought it would be! You never think about trying to be inconspicuous during everyday goings-on...and I mean there are a LOT of people coming and going EVERYWHERE, ha! So, I moved the car around quite a bit while I "watched and waited"...I know it looked like I was "casing the joint" and I guess, technically, I WAS! :) Thankfully, there was a brief respite of shoppers and the perfect time to "strike"...

Of course, during my "wait time" I got a little panicky and worried someone might try to turn it in thinking someone had accidentally left it behind. So, I quickly handwrote this
I am still flying high with the random goodness of it!!! Overall, it was AWESOME and it reminded me of the Friends episode where Phoebe and Joey have a discussion about how there are no unselfish acts... TRULY, I think the giver gets as much, maybe MORE, as the receiver!
I hope this finds you experiencing some kindness wherever you may be...until the next mission...S.A.T.
